About ISSIM 2011
The society progress and future depends essentially on the availability and the intelligent use of materials. Because, for many key industry areas, Europe is at the forefront of the development of new materials and their applications, the Romanian scientists and engineers cannot remain behind. That is why the ISSIM 2011 Congress will provide an opportunity to exchange information at academic level in the field of Materials Science and Engineering. A large number of worldwide engineers are expected to attend this scientific event, thus creating the prerequisites for a mutually fruitful meeting among various categories of students, researchers, executives and managers.
ISSIM 2011 will be held in Iaşi, the medieval city in the north of Moldavia, former residence of the Moldavian kings, the cultural capital of Romania. The event will take place in the Conference center of the Technical University “Gh. Asachi”, situated close to the city centre.
